Raw, straight up, original hip hop – Asylum Seekas are the most southerly based British collective to reach the ears of the UK.

From the isolated shores of Guernsey, 70 miles south of the coast in the Channel Islands, DJ Minirol and emcees KP The Iceman, Jimi Riddlz and Apex have been entertaining crowds for years, from heavy shows, battle nights to freestyle sessions & live band jams with beatboxing (9mm & Human) & raw turtablism regularly coming into play.
Supporting headline acts such as Foreign Beggars, Jehst, Tommy Evans, Aspects, Lewis Parker, Doc Brown, Diversion Tactics, Yungun, Def Tex, DJ Woody and Joe Driscoll. “Its all about heavy beats, twisted flows and clever rhymes!” – Born through and influenced by a love of classic hip hop and inspired by everyone from Africa Bambadaa to Zion I.
Held together by self taught producer and DJ Minirol, (who began the work alongside emcees Jimi Riddlz and Big-Ish-Who, their debut EP – ‘Dont Shoot Me 12“‘ was a hit amongst fans & reached the top spot of the Chemical Records recommendations list in 2005).
After several collaborations with Apex (Idleminds Records) including a series of international mixtapes with Greek genius ‘Empne‘ and the most recently joined member, KP the Iceman, (Iceman Beats) the current team was complete.
